Welcome to the Hi Desert Teamster Retirees Website. We invite all teamsters retirees to join and meet other brothers and sisters who enjoy the benefits of teamster retirement. We understand your needs and wanted to build a website that meets those expectations. As a member we would like your input to help develop your website and appreciate and welcome your suggestions.

The Teamsters Joint Council 42 Scholarship
Teamsters Joint Council 42 offers a number of financial awards for children of active Teamsters Union members who belong to one of the following Teamster Local Unions: 14, 36, 63, 166, 186, 381, 396, 399, 481, 495, 542, 572, 630, 631, 683, 848, 896, 911, 952, 986, 995 and 996. Teamster Night!
Barstow Veterans Home
Members of the High Desert Teamsters Retirees donated a Brinkman 5 burner Bar-B-Q grill to the Barstow Veterans Home . It was presented to the Administrator Arthur Robles and Skilled Nursing Administrator Jeff Aronson on Monday November 7th by the Executive Board Members of High Desert Teamsters Retirees. MORE
Executive Board Members
Executive Board Members were invited to attend the Apple Valley School District office meeting on October 20,2011. They were presented a Certificate of Appreciation for cooking 1200 hot dogs at the Phoenix Academy school for the children with perfect attendance. Out of the student body of 1400 they had 1200 with perfect attendance.
The High Desert Teamster Retirees
The High Desert Teamster Retirees in August donated a check for $100 to the Victor Valley Rescue Mission and the members donted another $200 to buy food for their pantry. In September and October members brought non perishable items to donate to them and will do so again at the November meeting.
College Scholarship Fund
Two scholarships were awarded this month in the amount of $350.00 to Selah Cosentino and Meagan Dixon. Congratulations to our lucky winners!!!
Your Photo's
We need photos for the web site . Preference is you and your trucks or warehouse distribution centers. Also retirement photos of you at car shows , motorcycle shows, fishing trips etc. Photos of company trucks would be good especially of the older ones. We also want your vacation photo's. Some of the photo's will be used on the front page and the rest in our galleries. If you want to tell us a little about the photo's, please do.
Toy's for Tots
Our members are a giving group of people. I would like to thank all of you for remembering those families in need. MORE
Legal Services
Available to all Teamster retirees, Attorney at Law, William F. Cornelas is giving a 50% discount for Living trusts. Normally his fee is $ 1,800 and our price is $900
High Desert Teamster Retirees
Meets the last Tuesday of the month except December Hometown Buffet 14689 Valley Center Drive Victorville, CA. 92329 Breakfast 8:00 am (BYO), Meeting 9:00 am Hometown Buffet is requiring all in attendance to purchase a breakfast to offset the cost of opening early.
